Fusing childhood imagination with holiday magic: a journey through my 3D environment design
Two years ago, I embarked on a creative journey to find a 2D concept that would beautifully combine the boundless wonder of childhood imagination with the enchanting magic of Christmas. Inspired by nostalgic holiday memories and whimsical children’s stories, I envisioned a world where.

This project is heavily influenced by the conceptual artworks of Nadin Lüdicke , particularly her piece titled “Is it Christmas yet?” (ArtStation Link ). Nadin’s work masterfully blends imagination with childlike innocence, using vibrant colors, dynamic poses, and subtle storytelling details that have been incredibly instructive for me. Her ability to capture the essence of childhood wonder while weaving in festive elements has guided my creative process throughout this project.

By drawing inspiration from Nadin’s artistry, I aimed to create an immersive environment that reflects the limitless possibilities of a child’s mind during the holiday season. The goal was to craft a scene filled with twinkling lights, handmade decorations, and larger-than-life characters—elements that embody both the excitement of Christmas and the endless creativity of childhood.
